# PHPUnit PHPUnit is a programmer-oriented testing framework for PHP. It is an instance of the xUnit architecture for unit testing frameworks. Alternatively, you may use [Composer](https://getcomposer.org/) to download and install PHPUnit as well as its dependencies.
