Ascension of Isaiah 7
1
And the angel brought me into the third heaven, and likewise in the same manner I saw those on the right and those on the left, and the throne in the midst, as in the second heaven.
2
And the angel said to me: No one of the angels or powers of that world knows the transformation of the Beloved or His descent to your world, and that He shall be as you are in form, and they will think that He is flesh and a man.
3
And the god of that world shall stretch out his hand against the Son, and they shall crucify Him on a tree, and shall slay Him not knowing who He is.

And thus His descent, as thou wilt see, will be hidden even from the heavens.
5
And he brought me to the fourth heaven, there also I saw thrones on the right and on the left, and the glory of those on the right was more splendid than the glory of those below.

And in the fifth heaven the glory was greater, and the praise sung was more glorious, and I desired to be transformed into the glory of the angels.
7
And the angel who led me said: Do not marvel at this. Thou shalt see a mightier glory, and throne, and crown and garments of the Beloved Himself, when we have ascended to the seventh heaven.
