Hail, sons and daughters, in the name of the Lord that loved us, in peace.
Exceeding great and rich are God's righteous ordinances towards you. Wherefore, and above all, I rejoice exceedingly over your blessed and glorious spirits; so deeply engrafted is the grace of the spiritual gift that ye have received.
On which account I the more congratulate myself, hoping to be saved; for I truly see in you the Spirit poured out from the abundance of the Lord's fountain upon you.
So greatly did the much-desired sight of you fill me with astonishment at you, that I am fully persuaded of this.
Since I am conscious of this, that having spoken to you I understand much, for the Lord hath accompanied me in the way of righteousness — I am altogether constrained to this also, to love you beyond my own soul.
Because great faith and love dwell in you in the hope of His life.
Considering this therefore, that if I should take care to communicate to you some portion of what I received, it shall turn to my reward that I ministered to such spirits, I was eager to send you a trifle, that along with your faith ye might have your knowledge also perfect.
Well then, there are three doctrines of the Lord: the hope of life, the beginning and the end of it.
