And the stones from the deep are the martyrs who endured for the name of the Lord. And the stones from the dry land are those newly converted who were found faithful.

And the stones that were rejected and thrown away: these are they who have sinned and wish to repent — they are cast not far off but near to the tower, because they will be useful for the building, if they repent.
